# 2024

* <mark style="color:blue;">**2/22/2024**</mark>

  **New Features**

  1. **Google Auto-Complete** on address fields make it easy to setup new clients and sites.
  2. **Geo-tag** controllers and see their location on a site map.
  3. **Backflow devices** can now be added as an asset to each site with options to capture detailed information and geo-location.&#x20;
  4. **Quote Viewer and Parts Take-Off PDF's** are now downloadable as a PDF file versus having to save as a PDF from print-preview.
  5. **Updated photo taking function** improves choosing which camera to use on your device.
  6. **Add photos to zones** before adding repairs makes it easier to capture issues while walking the system.
  7. **Delete photos** from checkup page if you later decide they are not important.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**3/6/2024**</mark>

  **New Features**

  1. **Track the time it takes to perform a checkup** using new 'Start' & 'Stop' buttons at the top of the checkup form. You can then see these timestamps in the Completed checkups list and in future reporting/analytics features.
  2. **Checkup Reason Tag** provides an option to show context as to why a checkup was performed when searching through historical visits.
  3. **Hide the Zone Details table** in the report PDF. A new option in the Report Template settings allows you to hide the zone details table on your report PDF if you have no need to show it to your clients.&#x20;
  4. **Cloning and custom labels for report templates** allows you to have multiple variations of the two standard report templates. You can now customize templates for different client service needs.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**4/25/2024**</mark>

  **New Features**

  1. **Internal Company Email address** added to the Company Details section of your My Profile settings. This is an email address that will be copied on all outbound emails from the app. (optional)
  2. **Site-level Internal Email addresses** added to the Site Details record that allows you to add an internal Account Manager and Internal Production Manager email. The new checkup related emails (see below) can be sent to these internal contacts. (optional)
  3. **Send internal emails to company contacts** directly from the quote viewer, parts list viewer, and finalized checkup report viewer. You can send the quote table and signature image, parts list table, and the checkup report pdf. The emails are one-click to the *Internal Emails* setup for the site and/or company, minimizing the manual entry of email addresses to compose a transactional email back to your office staff. ***NOTE: the emails come from <admin@irrigationcheckups.com> and are not customizable; meant for quick notification of checkup information.***
  4. **Detection of Concurrent Logins** will now render warning messages that another device has logged in with your credentials and you are now logged-out which can cause you to lose checkup information you were working on. ***Sharing of login credentials is prohibited.*** If you need additional licenses for your team, lower cost subscriptions are available from the Team Member tab in your My Account page. Concurrent users have been causing database issues. This is not a one-way app like Netflix, users are uploading and downloading data continuously and your login credentials keep that data organized.
  5. Various bug fixes such as numbering order of multiple backflows and controllers within the app and on reports; deleting related quote line items when a zone repair is deleted; better handling of photos; navigation between pages improved.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**5/22/2024**</mark>
  * A new customization option is available that allows you to define text to be displayed at the very end of your checkup reports. In the 'My Account' page, under the 'Company Details' section you will find a text editor to enter any kind of message you want at the bottom of reports. Could be business related or a state mandated disclosure.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**5/30/2024**</mark>
  * A dashboard with key metrics and a reports page is now available in the app. Users that are the primary subscriber (parent) will see the dashboard when they login, just above the Quick Action tiles.
  * The Reports page is now an active tile and added to the navigation window.
  * Team-member subscribers currently will not have access to this information. The plan is to allow the parent user to customize which team members and which information is viewable to them.

  #### New Features:

  1. Company Setting: Custom Checkup Statuses
     * Need a better process for understanding the status of a job? Create custom status labels.
     * The default values are 'New' and 'Completed'.
     * The first value in the list will be the default value on new checkup records
     * Define which labels are deemed 'Completed' to show up on 'Completed' checkup page.
     * Example list of statuses you could implement:
       * New
       * Incomplete
       * Inspected - Waiting on Approval
       * Completed - Repairs Finished
       * Completed - Repairs Not Approved
       * Completed - No Repairs Needed
     * Editing the label of existing status will update ALL existing checkups with that label.
     * User must set checkup status to move checkup to Completed page. Creating PDF no longer automatically 'Completes' checkup.
  2. Company Setting: Custom Checkup Reasons
     * Override the default checkups reasons and create your own list to choose from when performing a new checkup.
     * Editing the label of existing reasons will update ALL existing checkups with that label.
  3. Copy Report Link Buttons
     * After creating a PDF checkup report, quote, or parts list you can now click a button to copy the report link to your device clipboard and easily paste the link into your device email client.
  4. Company Setting: Custom Report and Quote Footers
     * From the Company settings in My Profile you can set a custom footer text (eg. disclaimer) that will be displayed at the end of the report and quote, respectfully.

  #### Fixes:

  1. Improved messaging and navigation between checkup report viewer, quotes viewer, and parts viewer pages.
  2. Various pages fixed for improved display on mobile devices.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**7/30/2024**</mark>
  1. Increased photo limits
     * You can now attach up to 10 images for each zone.
     * Report templates have been adjusted to accommodate using a 5x2 grid.
     * WARNING: Uploading more than 50 images in a single report may cause PDF rendering issues.
     * An online read-only report is coming soon that can be sent to clients to view reports with many images.
  2. Faster PDF Creation
     * Server improvements allow for faster PDF creation and storage.
  3. Delete Report Templates
     * You can now delete report templates that you no longer need.
     * The original 2 templates (Repair & Conservation) cannot be deleted.
  4. New App Documentation Available
     * New resource to learn the app can be found here: [Documentation](https://irrigationcheckups.gitbook.io/irrigationcheckups-docs).
* <mark style="color:blue;">**9/15/2024**</mark>
  * Improved report template handling of repair images by grouping images by controller instead of zones. Added image caption with zone number. Reduces dead white space and reduces page count.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**9/17/2024**</mark>

  #### New Features:

  1. New toggle to move to next zone instead of back to main checkup page.
     * Instead of always being brought back to main checkup page, you can now move to the next zone directly.
     * Works from Zone Information and Zone Repair pages.
     * WARNING: Potential to create multiple repair records. Eg. You first add repairs for Zone 3, but then go back to Zone 1 and use this new function. After Zone 2, you will be presented with a new repair page for Zone 3.
  2. Return to original page scroll position.
     * Instead of always returning to the top of the main checkup page, the page will be centered on the button clicked originally (eg. Zone 33 Add Repairs).
  3. Time Tracking Improvements (report template option)
     * Added function to pause the timer and resume.
     * The duration of the timer is now displayed with the Start Time and End Time.
  4. Update Site Addresses with Google Address Lookup
     * If a site address was entered manually, the geocode of the address is not captured, thus no map marker for that site.
     * In the Site Edit page, you can now update the address with Google Address Lookup function to add the geocode.

  **Fixes:**

  * Team members will only see the checkups assigned to them in the Incomplete and Completed pages.
  * Permissions for account owners to access and delete team member created records fixed.
  * Fixed assignment issue when adding additional quote items to a multi-controller checkup.
  * Report template improvements (picture layout, section page breaks, controller labels).
* <mark style="color:blue;">**10/20/2024**</mark>

  #### New Features:

  1. Language support toggle.
     * Users can not switch the app language between English and Spanish using the toggle in the navigation bar menu.
     * All pages are translated EXCEPT company configuration pages in My Account for app owners/managers.
