# Adding App to Device

Currently the IrrigationCheckup.com app is technically as web-based app, meaning that it is accessed through any internet connected web browser on any type of device. Doesn't matter if you are using a desktop (PC or iOS), tablet (Android, iOS, Amazon), or phone.

The Chrome internet browser is recommended for the best experience using the application. Both Chrome and Safari browsers allow you to download the web-app to your device, which means you will see an app icon in your app drawer (grid) allowing you direct access to the web page without having to type in the address each time or finding the bookmark. It also launches without the browser header where navigation and bookmark fields take up precious screen real estate on mobile devices.
